You can get always get a solid burger here. It's an upscale burger joint and a burger, beer, and fries will cost about $30. It's delicious, but everything is à la carte and it's not a typical everyday spot.
I've eaten here twice and have always been satisfied. They have an extensive beers menu and a rotating beer special and burger special.
My favorite things about Burger Bar. Their service is always impeccable and nice. I've sat at the bar once (while waiting to for a Genius Bar appointment at the Apple Store across the street) and table seating the other time, to grab dinner before a show nearby.
Always, ALWAYS, get the parmesan truffle fries with guajillo aioli. This is a glorious combo. Favorite sauces: guajillo aioli, followed by the habanero bbq. The sriracha mayo tastes like bland plain mayo in comparison to how much kick and spice are in the other sauces.
I've gotten the build-your-own burger, "the" bacon cheeseburger, and the dry rub wings. For the dry rub wings (that comes with habanero bbq & buttermilk ranch) our server recommended getting 2 other sauces on the side (spicy chili-ginger glaze and the sriracha aioli) so it could be the intersection of the "sassy wings." The best of all sauce worlds.
They have a mug club here with perks for membership & beer. Come to burger bar if you're looking for a great burger and try as many sauces as you can to find your favorite! -

I don't understand this new thing restaurants are doing charging $15 for a burger that doesn't even come with fries and the burger doesn't even come with sauce. I ordered the "the" bacon cheeseburger, and it was a decent size at least. The meat was a little salty and a little dry but the bacon and cheese were good. I just don't understand why it comes dry, for $15 it should come ready to eat.
French fries tasted like wingstop fries, so those were good! But I think they were like $4-5 to add on. So $20 for one person to get a meal. Which is ... ridiculous. This place ain't THAT good. I'd rather pay for shake shack. -

Randomly walked in here and I must say this was a very good place. I loved the atmosphere of the bar. The decor was nice. They even have a photo booth in the back.
Went on a Tuesday afternoon and it was crowded But there was definitely more people in there then what I thought. We were greeted and seated right away. My boyfriend got an Oreo milkshake which he says was really good. I got myself the byo burger. Added bacon and Crispy onions. What I loved about the burger was that it had everything I wanted in every bite. The way their pickle was cut covered the whole burger and I love pickles! I asked for the burger medium rare and they actually cooked it to my liking which I was surprised because not many places can cook a burger medium or medium rare. This is a place I'm definitely going to come back to. -

I can't believe this was my first time to Burger Bar in Lincoln Park. I had heard about this place for some time now but had never had a chance to drop in. Since it so close to where I live now, I'm sure I'll be going back again soon.
The menu at first was overwhelming. With some many combinations and choices to choose from, I took a long time deciding on what to order. I finally opted to go with the Wild Bill since I haven't had a bison burger in a long time. Burger Bar definitely knocked it out of the park with this one.
The bison burger was paired extremely well with the arugula, goat cheese, and tomato chutney. This was not your average backyard burger. If you've never had bison, it has a lighter flavor than beef and is naturally lower in fat, calories, and cholesterol.
I'll gladly take a bison burger over a turkey burger any day and I'm sure I'll be returning to Burger Bar next time I'm looking for a quality burger! -

Forget about alcoholic drinks when they've got milk shakes like a freaking Candied Mango, Dulce de leche milkshake!
I was pleased with my burger not just cause the Patty was cooked medium rare but with how generous they were with my toppings like the bacon and mushrooms!
